Safety at electrical work – General
The course contents are based on the SFS 6002:15 and EN 50110 standards for safety at electrical work, which fullfils the requirements of the Finnish Electricity Safety Act 1135/2016 concerning training in electrical work safety.
The training obligation concerns all persons involved in electrical work: installers and supervisors as well as all electricity professionals working in work supervision, operation, planning, training and other expert duties. The course is also suitable for designers, automation and instrumentation personnel as well as those studying electrical engineering.
The course is intended for persons who work in the maintenance and service of electrical installations, machines and equipment of under 1,000 V.
The course also serves as the general part of the training obligation prescribed by Section 14 of the Finnish Occupational Safety and Health Act (738/2002) to provide the persons performing work in electrical engineering with instruction and guidance.
